What is the cost of Invisalign®?

The cost of Invisalign® treatment can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of your case, the length of treatment, and the number of aligners needed. It’s comparable to traditional braces, but a personalized quote can be provided after a consultation.

Will other people be able to see my Invisalign® aligners?

Invisalign® aligners are designed to be nearly invisible, making them a discreet orthodontic option. While small, tooth-colored attachments are often used to aid in tooth movement, these are also designed to blend in with your teeth.

How does Invisalign® straighten teeth?

Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions. Each aligner is custom-made to fit your teeth at a specific stage of treatment. By changing aligners every one to two weeks, your teeth move incrementally towards a straighter smile.

Can I remove my Invisalign® aligners during the treatment process?

Yes, one of the key benefits of Invisalign® is that the aligners are removable. This allows you to eat, drink, brush, and floss as usual. However, for optimal results, it’s essential to wear them for about 20-22 hours per day.

Will Invisalign® have an impact on my speech?

Some patients may experience a slight lisp or difficulty speaking when first starting Invisalign® treatment. This is usually temporary as you adjust to the aligners. Most people find that their speech returns to normal within a short period.

Am I allowed to drink beverages while wearing my Invisalign® aligners?

It’s best to limit drinks to cold water while wearing your aligners. Other beverages can be consumed with a straw, but cold temperatures are recommended to prevent the aligners from warping. Your orthodontist can provide specific guidelines based on your treatment plan.

How do I clean my Invisalign® aligners?

To clean your Invisalign® aligners, gently brush them with a toothbrush and water. For a deeper clean, you can use antibacterial hand soap. Always rinse thoroughly before reinserting the aligners.

How long will my Invisalign® treatment take to complete?

The duration of Invisalign Teen® treatment varies depending on the individual case. Most adult patients finish treatment within a year, while teenagers may have longer treatment times due to ongoing tooth development.
